I'll tell you how, Jay. Because Ernie Grunfeld was and still is a horrible GM. When people complain about how Patrick Ewing never got someone of his caliber to be his sidekick, Ernie is the reason. He let X-man walk, traded Mark Jackson for Doc Rivers and Charles Smith, couldn't draft for shit, hell they didn't even had ONE pick for the '93 draft. People give Riley shit for how he left the Knicks, but can you blame him when he had this idiot to work with? I'm amazed that Washington gave Grunfeld close to two decades to build a team, only to never make it past the second round. Then again, I never thought Scott Layden would get hired again, so anything is possible.

Doc Rivers and Xavier McDaniel probably win next year nothing against Jax but Doc was a better all around player then and we don't have to talk about Charles Smith

I like ewing Jordan pippen n that order I'm a DIE HARD ewing fan and I'm going to say SO WHAT if NY lost ewing played well n the playoffs vs Jordan and pippen and I'm BASICALLY satisfied cuz of Ewing's stats and his intensity n this game
