+Cherry City Elevators Well, they already preserve two ex-Toronto GMC New Looks, and over there they once had buses that used the same powertrains.

Why was the engine replaced? Was it perhaps due to emissions compliance or something?

+guildrich - Not because of emissions...but rather Tri-Met replaced the engines during mid-life bus refurbishment in the late 90s.

TriMet didn't replace the engines in these. They usually rebuild engines

I’d like to install a Cummins ISM Engine in a Harley Davidson Motorcycle. The exact same engine as this Bis except in a Motorcycle. Also an Air Starter and Fast Idol Switch. I’d call her Joice the Air Start Harley Davidson Motorcycle!!!😎😎😎😎☕️☕️☕️☕️🧊🧊🧊☕️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️
