THE Absolute Golden Era of bike racing. The toughest bikes to ride, as wellas the best looking and best sounding overall for an era, and some of the absolute giants of the sport competing against each other. What a mighty time, and I consider myself fortunate to have seen them race twice at Laguna Seca in 93 and 94.

Barry sheene is a very funny lad, when he said the team is hopeless and couldn't get stung in a beehive, I had a bit of a chuckle, Mr sheene was a really good racer and a very nice guy, always told it straight up but somehow kept it humorous and entertaining to watch, rest in peace Mr Barry sheene 🙏😊🏍️👊

It was tough watching Eddie Lawson getting lapped by Doohan -he was a much better rider than the Cagiva allowed him to be, along with the Dunlop wets which weren't even close the tbe Michelins

To think that at the end of the year, Wayne Gardner swapped his Honda for a ride in the Australian Touring Car Championship, well, he was pretty good on four wheels as well as 2.

So many riders falling off in the shitty conditions, can't be too critical because they are trying to ride savage beasts in appalling weather, takes balls of steel to do that 😊
