I had one of those new that I used on a 9' 6" Zodiac. It was one of the best machines I have ever owned for what it was. Other engines that size did not have neutral option, it was quieter, smoother, lighter and easier on gas than the 2 hp Honda that I previously bought new and took back because it (the Honda) was a terrible product. If I was alone sitting to the center of my Zodiac this outstanding little motor would plane the boat at 15.4 miles per hour by GPS!
