As a kid the opening music used to make me more excited than Christmas. Following each days report until it came into wales, where coincidentally I was always to ‘ill’ to go to school! Give me them Group A cars anytime over modern WRC.

We were standing roughly level with where Tommi hit the tyre wall. What you can’t really see on the video is the massive amount of standing water on the track, it was horrendously wet that day and just teemed down all day.
