I was driving ex-London Routemasters in Glasgow during 1992. I still drive them with Red Bus Edinburgh, whose three buses are: WLT 737/875 & 353 CLT.

@@kd84afc No one ever got booked for running late unless you were "Scratching" Over 5 minutes early and you were on report. (Ex LT Bus Driver 22 years service)

Wow thanks for sharing, what an eye-opening documentary! I used to love catching London buses, especially routemasters that had conductors on, as a young girl in the 90s - it just wasn't the same when they got rid of conductors! I've always had the utmost respect for bus drivers and conductors and even now, I try to always say thank you to the driver when tapping in with my oyster, as well as shout "thank you!" from the back door whilst alighting. I also love how this documentary shows how London has always been such a melting pot - and how school children have always been terrors for bus drivers 🤭 I've shared this video with my best friend, as her husband has driven TfL buses for years!
