They are repairing significant rust damage and restoring the vehicle for purpose. Most modern panel beaters wouldn’t touch it because there’s no money in it for them. These guys are skilled repairers, doing the difficult jobs to support families etc. Well done!

These are people who actually remember the art and craft of restoration. Good show. Over here in North America, the process would involve taking the body shell down to bare metal through media blasting and then throwing 90 % of the original body away. Then we would order new foreign made body panels. Then, stitch them together and brag that we've restored a classic vehicle. Our decline as a culture in the new world can be observed as manifesting itself in many ways, but it really comes down to laziness and disrespect for the past.

Мне нравятся эти чуваки, они, как миньоны, или дузеры (для тех, кто помнит). Для них нет ничего невозможного. Коленвал сварить - не вопрос. Раму выпрямить-без базара!!!. Находчивые ребята 😊

кузовные работы хоть и на уровне учеников ПУ но судя по всему заказчика эта работа устраивает. Молодцы, работа кипит !

I can appreciate the torch welding but slapping patch panels over rust without cutting out the bad metal first is just what you said, a botch job. What they did took forever (just look at the patches they did on the rear windows, they were completely rusty later in the video cause time passed/no sealer/improper storage) and won't last so it's a waste of money. Or job security for those guys.

I would have preferred that they grind out a lot more rust and treat it with something before putting new metal on. I would imagine that they weighed the cost and time of a longer job with how long this work will serve them. The climate probably isn't as wet and salt prone as the North Eastern US or Canada.
