I was part of the ESPN TV crew at that show. After judging was over, me a couple other guys were watching the playback of the HW judging. Someone behind me asked, "what do you think about Christian Duffy?" Without turning around I said, "he sucks, Flex Wheeler has this show all day." The guy stormed off pissed - it was Duffy.

I had a VHS tape of this in the 90s which was "borrowed" by a room mate. I was always a little bummed that I lost this and many other recorded memories. Thank you for posting it and bringing it back!

Damn, forgot about Chris Duffy and Michael Francois. Was a fan of both of them until Francois retired early in his career, due to illness. Chris Duffy was a 6'1" mass monster who lifted very heavy weights whose wife Joni Bovino was also a competitor. Not going to go into Duffy's personal life but I lost respect for the man (what he put his woman through with his personal choice) but respected his bodybuilding training and physique.

He's bisexual aince their still married; they did porn together where he did guys. I'm all for if you're gay,you're gay, I don't give a flying f***, as long as you stay away from children. Duffy came out whilst he was married to her, but she stuck with him through it, though. My wife tells me, I'm attracted to women,as well as, men I'm out. Mad respect to her because I couldn't do what she did with that marriage.

Chris Duffy I knew 💯 him when I was going to the gym, an his wife Jonie, he did turn pro bodybuilding competitions, an unfortunately he turned gay 😂, I'm pretty sure his wife left him. So sad about he did.
