I think that style of training could be very effective for ppl,but the problem or set back for some is that ur likely going to have to keep a log book and beat numbers eveytime u go to the gym,and it also requires a high level of concentration and focus that can be hard to duplicate for 90% of ppl day in nd day out,and most ppl ould likely find it unenjoyable to train that way,alot of it is conditioning ur mind to laser focus concentration and almost a zen like mind control when ur going all out,it's very hard to do for most ppl
@willthomas76662 жыл бұрын
I think most ppl would have to do that style with a training partner to hold them accountable and to push them to break numbers every season or at least for a while until they've adapted the mental Side of it,it's intense

Keep in mind, the Five stars are based on my needs for this item kzbin.infoUgkxUHHotQRjIQnfuxEeVotlkHVYWH0DXZoS When I first bought the bike I was going to return it immediately. After trying it out for several days/weeks I came to realize it is actually perfect for WHY I bought it.This is not a workout, the resistance is, eh, it makes a bit of noise, not loud, and it isn’t very stable even with the mat. The mat certainly keeps the bike from sliding but nothing keeps the mat from sliding (if that makes any sense, lol). Mine is place on my hard wood floor. Maybe it would be better with a rug underneath??I sit for long hours for work and wanted something to keep my legs moving. This bike does exactly that! For the price it is amazing, it is compact, easy to use, light weight, keeps track of time, calories etc (not sure how accurate it is) but good little product. I am happy with it.

The legpress wont come down and crush you, theres usually 1 or 2 heights where the handles will stop the weight and a bottom position which is way too high to crush someone who isnt 220 cms tall. Such an interesting contrast having Dorian, a quiet, working-class lad who achieved unbelievable success, collaborating with Mike, an equally hard-working but modern, social media-savvy fitness influencer. You can see/feel the difference in styles. Dorian was pushing himself outside his comfort zone which I admire. You have to remember his whole gimmick/persona/being was around not letting ANYONE see how he trained, for years, pushing himself harder than anyone had ever before, all in secrecy at his little mega basic Temple Gym (amazing stuff if you're not aware). He worked harder and got more cut than anyone in history ever had, all while being 6ft+ and an absolute unit sizewise... it's no wonder he rocked up to Mr Olympia and blew everyone away despite the fact no one saw him for most of the year. He really is one of a kind and his achievements as a Brit are underappreciated in the UK. No one pushed boundaries further than he did and he won consecutive titles at the peak of modern bodybuilding, while training in a shithole gym in Birmingham. Legend.
@crazyhorse85642 жыл бұрын
A second observation here is that I feel Dorian struggles to get across his "die in the set mentality" mainly because it's so weird and unique. Very few of us push ourselves as deep as he did, and that just means very few of us ever realised the results and the method behind the madness. He spends most of this video trying to justify to Mike how's its okay to more or less die in the set, as the closer you get, the more stress and therefore growth you create. Excellent, fascinating stuff. Dorian must have gone to very dark places in his competing days - his dedication to this method, while relatively unproven at the time, is really very inpressive.
