I’m looking at hitting the road as a missionary when I retire. The silver 8V92 engine was the best mechanical engine made, in my book. I started driving over the road in 1987. The nice thing about a mechanical engine is that it will run without electrical power. It will get you to help. I would prefer a series 60, but would take the mechanical any day.

@@rvmaxus You're welcome. what really sets it off is the genuine enthusiasm you show. If I could offer a bit of advice, I would fi d ways to cut it shorter. That takes work, but the impact of less is more is very effective.

@@qwiklok Personally, I appreciated the thoroughness. Maybe a quick video + the full length video... Quick one to give people a taste and decide if the coach fits their criteria, and a longer one for those who believe they are genuinely interested. I'd watch an hour video on this coach if it involved an under body inspection and looking in every nook and cranny and had useful information.

@@smhyde Shawn - I agree. There are some coaches that have a 20 min video and it is way too short! Riviting stuff. These guys though have a knack of doing great stuff and their presentation is really in the top of the league. Andrew Steele is one who is on tops and honestly, I get tired of him - gargily voices, often schmoozing and flattering the other guys, sometime unrealistic, a kind of a false interview - getting better. But compared to these young chaps, I prefer them. Just better.

Absolutely love the interior... I just wish it had a Series 60 and ducted roof air. I'm still thinking though... Looks like one could blow through $50k real quick bringing her back to her glory with a touch of modernization added here and there.

I hope you decided to buy this. I’m looking for a cheap Prevost. I agree that the Series 60 is an excellent engine. But the 8V92 was the best mechanical engine made.

This is a very tasteful coach with timeless color selections . The roof is Stainless Steel rivited to the ribs just like the rest of the coach , and will last forever, just keep up the sealant around the vents and skylights and antenna's . CHEERS

I'm seeing an impressive sound and video system throughout the upper portions of the walls. The previous owners probably reviewed videos of their concerts when they were on the road! Impressive road test, too. Not all the videos for these rigs include road tests. BTW, next time use your cell phone for navigation---LOL!!

Cedar closets keep the bugs out... And they smell amazing 😉. I sand mine lightly once a year or so just to freshen up the wood and have never had a single moth. Very nice bus!

1992 was the year we got married, still looking for that needle in a haystack. With the crashing economy and the looming diesle shortage (hoax) there will be big discounts on these older coaches as winter progresses.

For those watching and own or want to own a bus for rv 5 year old date code on tires is the oldest you should run . Especially front tires.

I loved the two stroke Detroit's but the 8V92 loves to drip oil and about 5 and a half mpgs at today's prices would cost a fortune to drive

How can you prevent fogging on windows and staining carpet? Is there a solution that kills staining, body damage, scratches and rust?

Unfortunately fogging happens to pretty much all the dual pane windows you see on RVs, from Prevost & Newells to Newmar's and Coachmen's. Things can be addressed, just depends on the coach you want. The most important part are the fundamentals of the coach side and chassis

Not exactly sure, what I do know is the bus was inspected by a trusted diesel technician who also picked this bus up and drove it to our facility. He serviced the engine too. I trust that much more than the 1992 electronics and lights on the dash board. That being said if anyone serious is still curious we would be more than happy to see what lights are lit up. Also open to inspections from buyers. Thanks! :)

My wife and I got together in 92, but most of the ones I have found are north of our budget, are they worth it, some are, some aren't, as winter comes on, and the economy continues to crash, there will be more pop up for sale, and now there is a diesle shortage hoax looming, some of these sellers are going to be sorry that they didn't drop the price to reality, and get rid of them, because for a while in the near future they won't be able to.

I wouldn't buy it unless it had a 60 series engine but since a 92 forget about a 2 cycle engine uses to much oil and not many people service them

I'm a diesel mechanic and unless you have no knowledge of 2 stroke Detroits , It's nice to stay quiet. Cared for an 8v92 can roll lots of miles. Most don't know what oil they use and damage them. Change fuel, oil filters and add lubricity to today's lousy fuel. I see a long future. Much better than the DEF drinking junk produced nowadays..

Way to much for that bus needs new tires $ 9000 plus aqua hot to repair $1000s of dollars plus 2 stroke if anything look for a series 60 engine in a 95 and up bus those are the best them 2 strokes I wouldn't buy unless a good deal maybe worth 60K not much more that's probably what he got it for

You are right, they are fantastic engines if you know what you have. I almost always tell people intersted in an 8V92 bus, you either need to work on it yourself, or know someone who is familiar with them. This one was taken care of by the owner, has all sorts of extra parts and the engine looks and drives like it was maintained pretty well.

@@luiselapostolfeliz2421 You can't. Our 06 Wanderlodge has clear coat coming off the top of the Girard awning casings now. Time and weather. Only solution is to re-clear coat.

Nice coach but severely over priced, I assume they want so much because it has the Prevost name but after you overspend for this coach, you will have to put many thousands more to make it useable. It's priced as if it had no issues, new tires, etc.
