Back pressure is not what you ever want and dump exhaust does not kill the power, it increases it. With NA it's a bit different but with turbo especially the lower the restriction behind turbine wheel the better.

The JZA80 Supra came with 2 types of 6 speed gear boxes both getrag the V160 was in the s1 and V161 was in the s2 they are very similar v161 has a little different gear ratios.

Yes, I think you jumped to a conclusion considering I mentioned back-pressure. Back-pressure does not result in more power. It leads to a better feeling engine.

@@anth6192012 i love my 3UZ but it's a completely different kind of V8 from an LS. IMO not much sense in trying to do LS things with a UZ since UZ engines are already fine stock where as the power gains from even affordable mods on an LS are well worth it.

I love your videos but you say random things about cars which seem really odd. Downpipe reduces power due to no backpressure? 280 crank horsepower somehow equals 210 at the wheels? 25% drivetrain loss is a lot for even AWD vehicles, 10-15% is about what a RWD should lose.

I'm glad that you like the videos. I'm sorry if you think that I say crazy things. Backpressure is good for your car. I did not say it adds power though. There is more to a car than power... unless you are only fighting other internet-car-guys. Then EVERYTHING is about power. The rule is 15% drivetrain loss... I can't math in my head that well but it's completely possible to lose 25% because the 15% is not a one-size-fits-all. I have not dyno-ed a number of 2JZ cars and so I don't know the generally accepted loss in this setup.

guessing, the stock bar is beefy, but you can't reach the damper adjustment knob with it, this aftermarket one lets you reach knob, and may be needed to install coilovers. i have a jzs147, but cut coils. you should get your color vision checked, looks aquamarine blue to my eyes on your vid
