expansion valve was clogged. It was amazingly cold after replacing it.

@@Bairleafarm is there only 1 expansion valve? I have a 1996 Corolla.

@@johnnymartinez305 as far as I know every modern ac system has expansion valves. Some are on the firewall and some are buried in the dash.

@@Bairleafarm I'm here scratching my head because I once had a shop replace an expansion valve that I think was in the engine bay. AC worked great for awhile but now I have to recharge the Freon every week or so. just had a mechanic check it and he says he didn't find any leaks.
