Every tight call in this series went against the Blue Jays, but they still pulled off the Series win. Looked like the fix was in against a Canadian Team winning the World Series, not to mention the disgrace of the Canadian Flag being flown upside down accidentally on purpose. An awesome effort from the Jays to overcome a plethora of horrible calls!

The most overlooked great World Series. 1991 was the best WS of all-time, but this series was a worthy sequel

Obviously the '91 Fall Classic should be considered one of the greatest World Series ever contested. The '92 World Series had loads of drama as well, not bad for a Series that lasted 6 games. 3 of the Jays' 4 Series wins came down to their final turn at-bat. The Braves, give 'em credit, they just kept battling despite some early struggles by their bullpen in the Series. As a Blue Jays fan, this was an epic moment in time watching the Jays playing in the World Series for the 1st time, and up against the best team in the National League at that time. Thank goodness the Jays finally shed their old label of not being able to come up big in October, the '92 & '93 Blue Jays removed that stigma for good. The Braves though, they weren't long before they finally captured their 1st World Series championship a few years later.

Jays have not been able to produce again collectively as such a strong team. 92/93 they had everything going for them. Pitching…strong hitters…great fielding. Later, they had the likes of Bautista and Donaldson but no pitching.

1. Everyone looked so small back then. 2. Kelly Gruber was always so dirty. 3. Joe was a monster. 4. The trenches were clutch.

A match up between the two teams that were eliminated by the Twins last year. definitely an underrated world series. It was vastly overshadowed by 1991 and 1993 as those both ended more dramatically.

I was at Games 3, 4 & 5 here in Toronto, plus at SkyDome for game 6, this city went bonkers for this series. (We have the Leafs, can ya blame us? Lol) Loved watching Carter, Alomar, White, Olerud, Winfield, Borders & Maldonado all shine, but My favourite Blue Jay here in Toronto for years was Kelly Gruber. He played all the '92 season hurt, got dogged in the press, by the fans, & he came out playing harder in this series then at any other time during his time with the Blue Jays. Made that error yeah, but hit a clutch home run, his defense saved a few runs, he ran hard like the devil was chasing him, and YES, he got Sanders on the foot. He doesn't get any credit but he played as hard as anyone in this series. Also, did anyone else notice the umps seemed to miss or blow calls for both teams throughout this series? Glavine probably should've had had 20+ K's in his combined starts but the umpire seemed to forget what a consistent strike zone was. Same thing happened to Cone, Guzman & Smoltz. Overall, though, just an incredible series.

Toronto was stacked but the braves bullpen really blew it for them in this series. Game 2 was a back breaker

Toronto Blue Jays was the first non American team to win the world series that year. Toronto Blue Jays could've won three straight world series if it wasn't for the strike in 1994.
