I watched this game in Vancouver and went to Robson st. after Jays won the championship. The street was so crowned but everyone was happy and exchanged high-five with passing strangers. It was like a whole country was united. That was the very nice moment to see.. I am in Japan now but still remember the scene. Thank you very much for uploading this video.

A day I will never forget. Bought my single ticket across the street in Ron Jaworski's sports bar, it was an Oakland A's ticket for management attending the baseball meetings. A personal friend of Tony LaRussas was sitting next to me, he was an executive with General Motors. He invited me golfing with Tony and Sandy Alderson the next day, I declined, not wanting to make a fool out of myself. Here I am sitting between third and home, about 16 rows from the field, I'm in the first row of seats after the walkway separating field level seats from the rest of the first level. Frank Robinson is sitting behind me, Whitey Herzog is close and LaSorda is lower, behind home plate. It's the seventh inning stretch and the crowd is going nuts, applauding and yelling, Donald, Donald! It was Donald Trump walking by me, was that something, I had read some of his books. I got pretty drunk at Jaworski's following the game. The next day, I needed to pick up my A's tickets that were offered to me the night before. Got to meet LaRussa and Alderson and thanked them for the tickets. As I was leaving their Hotel, I talked a little baseball with Johnny Bench and Vin Scully while they were waiting for their ride to the park. Unreal. That was 30 years ago and now I'm suffering from ALS. I was in Baltimore the night Cal Ripken broke Lou Gehrigs record!

I was faithfully watching these series on ctv some odd years ago and was amazed how everyone including my immigrant familly cheered for the Jays, it was my first time experiencing as a 12-13 year old belonging as a whole country to this team, now that I'm 44 years old sitting and reflecting about that feeling of belonging in my own country Djibouti, those were great years

Great Video!...and I liked the music. I watched the series in Cozumel Mexico. I was the only one in the Sports Bar except for a couple of waiters who was cheering for the Blue Jays.

"Alomar". Winfield was not on this team. he was on the 1992 team that were also champions. and it's Todd Stottlemyer. Mel was his famous baseball father. Jack Morris did almost nothing for Toronto. he was always either injured or losing.

@@RedroomStudios Jack Morris went 21-6 in 1992, and the Jays only won the division by 4 games, so I don't think it's accurate to say he did "almost nothing" for them.

It was only the second time in history that The World Series was clinched by a Home Run! I didn't watch it live with my baseball buddies, I would've only jinxed it! Great series though, it had everything - Game 4 was an absolute classic!

Its ironic that the 2 greatest sports moments in Toronto History happened against Philadelphia on series winning play. (Kawhi Leonard in 2019, and obviously Joe Carter in 1993)

Good days to be a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. Average 4 million fans per season and lots of money to buy the greatest talent available on the market. Was tough to imagine in those days the wheels ever falling off. Sell the brewery that owned them though and priorities change quickly. Great days and fun while it lasted ....

Whole reason why (Philly) Lost was due to poor pitching and bad decisions by Mitch Williams, But Gad..feel so good watching this and feel so young too and ALL the Blue Jays played so well, But Joe Cealed it all at the end, and I remember me and my buddies jumping around like Joe Carter when he Smacked that ball over the wall(going nuts)
