Another Awesome video Sir . I have to admit lowing it does look good. Really like the longer tongue.. You Have been doing some nice upgrades to DATRACKER .. Has for the wiring goes there should be a pipe ran under the side shelf cause on my brother’s tracker it has a pvc pipe ran the length on the starboard side for the steering and shifter controls and it goes all the way to the front .. Stay safe and As always Sir thanks for the ride along and Keep’em coming 👍👍👍

Like watching your videos. I would suggest you move your negative terminal over to the other battery so you’re actually distributing the load between the two batteries. Obviously they’re connected but The least path of resistance applies here. This will distribute the load over the two batteries.

Put a set of air bags between axle and frame. Just as cushion. Carpet the fender tops and fold down on inside for boat rub protection. Great job.

Great video as always. Love your enthusiasm for making things more ergonomic for a great boating experience. Just a quick question, I watched you and your son set up the suspension and bunks using your measuring tapes. Did you check for wheel alignment by way of isolines triangle of the front of the trailer tongue to the trailer wheels.
@Michaelsbackyardmarina6 ай бұрын
Good question! Nope we did not. The trailer spring hanger in the front are welded from the factory, the locator in spring mount centers it up on the spring. I have pulled the trailer over 1,300 miles and the tires are doing well. I have had a bent axle on my Starcraft trailer and when it is not triangular as you mentioned, the tires will be bald in less than 500 miles.

is that johnson a long shaft or a short shaft??? you should know this but ... somewhere on that axle its stamped "f" for front. they are toed in so when you went from bottom mount to top mount you should have swapped sides too to keep it toed in for better tracking. nice add ons i would have put a combiner switch on the batteries but if that charger is smart enough oh well. speaking of which live well next???
@Michaelsbackyardmarina6 ай бұрын
It is a long shaft, This axle shaft is perfectly straight, no crown and not toe, I spun it to see, also I put it in the same orientation, just on top vs. bottom. Thanks for watching

Wouldn’t the rear roller be there for when you retrieve the boat? Or the bow will hit the rear cross member? Just a thought. P.S. Love the shirts mate. Epic.

Hi Michael ..any chance you could tell me the prop size and pitch? I have a 16' foot aluminum boat similar to yours and it needs a better propeller. Thanks
@Michaelsbackyardmarina6 ай бұрын
I need to remove the prop to check it out. Should do that in an up coming video. Thanks for watching
