Cadillac has come a long way. Today they build competetive cars, that are almost up to par with BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Hell, the ATS-V and CTS-V are even faster around the Nürburgring then their competitors. Look how far behind they were in 1993
@MinnesotaChevy4548 жыл бұрын
+DolleHengst I'm not doubting you, just genuinely curious, but in what ways was Cadillac behind its competitors in the 90s? I thought they dominated the American luxury market back then and not so much now.
@DolleHengst8 жыл бұрын
MinnesotaChevy454 Well, compare any Cadillac from the early 90's to an S-Class, 7-Series or Lexus LS from that period, and you'll see what i mean. The interiors looked totally outdated, they didn't have half the features, and they still used a 16-valve, pushrod V8. They may have dominated the American market, because people are patriottic. Everywhere else in the world, they didn't sell at all.
@MinnesotaChevy4548 жыл бұрын
DolleHengst Ohhh yeah, the legendary LS 400. I forgot all about that. The 7-Series is great and definitely the S Class too. When I wrote that comment, I wasn't thinking straight... haha

@RYJ1990 The hood release is actually next to the driver side door under the steering wheel, and you have to lift a lever up in the middle of the hood to release the latch. I've got a 93 deville myself, they're really good cars with a lot of power

I want the DeVille though wish I loved closer to you I'd buy it use it as parts. Hey its not a Junker! *Sigh* Love these cars man. You cannot find a car being made today of this kind of quality and craftsmanship made in America in my opinion. It's just amazing, these cars won't ever be made again and Cadillac will never be like it was back in the day.

Excellent. Please do more. Please look for older cars from the 70's. I want to see you do some on late 79-85 full size GM Diesel cars. Please find some diesel cars from that time with the 5.7 GM diesel. If you want to have a great challenge-then try to find a diesel GM car. You do such a good job saabkyle04, keep up the good work. Kyle- also the Chevy Cruze is going to be sold in the US next year with the diesel, please show it to me. I can't travel or get out much, so your work means alot.

Screw the Caddy! That Dodge Lil' Red Express Pickup is what you should have focused on. I kept hoping you would go back to it. They also made a Black version called the Midnight Express.That is one rare and very valuable truck. Probably a 1978. If it's original and not a fake, and you can get your hands on it, do it! Big Money!

I just looked at this video pretty rare seeing a Caddy in the junkyard. Whoever the person was that owned that car didn't care nothing about it looked how trash that poor Caddy is seems they really abused that car. I bet the car probably belonged to a grandfather or senior citizen just wasn't in the shape anymore to drive probably their children must had sold it got in the hands of whoever and they just let it go what a shame. These cars are rare someone passed through my neighborhood has one except it's white still looks good love these Caddies hate the fact that this one is stuck in a junkyard wish someone could bring it back to life. R.I.P Caddy

Poor Deville!!!!! D; i hate seeing these old cars in this condition .. Looks like my dads old one and it wasnt even close to as bad as this one in looks ways but mechanically probably way different (Bad Brakes,Exhaust, Pass. Dr wouldn't open just too name a few) but for that there pretty reliable cars, lasted my dad 12 years/230,000, and saved his life when he slid on ice and jumped a train track at 40mph ... just depends on how people treat there cars on how they`ll turn out after 20 years.
