My favorite Fox Body Mustang is the 93 SVT Cobra. In fact it's probably my favorite high performance car of the 1990's. Love the 93-95 SVT Lightning too. 240 horsepower was a really big number for the early 90's. And they responded very well to aftermarket performance mods. The 5.0-5 speed Fox Body Mustangs of the late 80's and early to mid 90's were the best high performance cars of that era and can be found in pretty good shape for really cheap. A great poor man's hot rod

Beautiful car but not original, lots of changes under the hood, the hood is after market. what most people don't realize is the cobra, not the cobra R, the svt cobra came down the assy line as a mustang gt, then as a shell went to the svt shop where most componets were installed different than the regular gt. all the lines, brake and fuel, most of the wiring harness, master cyl, shocks, springs etc, and it seems like the first thing a dumb ass does is start pulling shit off and replacing it with after market crap. i have a completely original cobra, 26000 miles, straight from the owner, been stored since 1996. only part ever removed were the headlights. needs complete clean up and some work from simply being parked. not sure if im going to keep it or sell it but it will be decided soon. the car is in texas

In Canada we didn’t have cobras just the LX or GT but the HP difference is 10 hp from cobra to GT wtf that’s it lol

It was more than that. Fords numbers were off from the factory. The cobra was said to have 255-270 hp. And it’s a very light car!
