This would be the long climb back for Dallas after losing two straight games against the Dolphins and the Falcons. The Cowboys HAD to win out and the Eagles were down in the dumps when Randall broke his leg. The Cowboys would start off this streak with a win over the Eagles.

As good as Dallas offense looked going up and down the field the entire first half, Dallas actually should have lost this game - 2 interceptions were dropped by the Eagles that Dallas scored 10 points off of in those drives - and the Eagles field goal kicker missed 2 field goals that should have been made - Dallas was lucky to get out of this game alive with a win
