米国「20世紀フォックス社」の人気映画「エイリアン」と「プレデター」の2作品をミックスした格闘アクションゲーム。ストーリーはアメリカのダークホースコミック社のコミック版をベースにしたカプコンオリジナルとなっている。内容は異星の戦闘種族「プレデター」と軍の戦闘サイボーグの2人が、大発生したエイリアンに立ち向かうというもの。登場するキャラクターごとに能力は異なるが、ゲームをやりこんでいくとそれぞれに独自の攻略テクニックが見つかり、そこが多くのプレイヤーを惹きつけることとなった。攻撃は地上でのコンボ攻撃に加えて、ジャンプ攻撃での追い打ち攻撃が可能。さらに、銃火器も標準装備されている。敵エイリアンが一度に大量に登場する為からか、難易度が高いように思われる作品だが、横スクロールアクションゲームとしての完成度は非常に高く名作として語られることが多い。
ストーリー:
エイリアンの大発生。かつてない恐怖が、独立海上都市「サン･ドラド」に降りたった。軍の戦力として現地に向かったリンとシェーファーの2人は、そこで別の生物と遭遇する。 ･･･プレデター。今や人類の存亡は、この異形の戦士の行動ひとつに委ねられている。

♥️This game is without question in the top 10 best arcade games of all time. Why this game never saw a true home port is beyond me and the SNES port doesn't count. Sorry its just no comparison vs Capcom's masterpiece here. This game was supposed to had been ported to the Sega 32x or even the Sega Saturn no excuses. I personally would of loved to have thus game on a Neo Geo Aes Alien vs Predator Cartridge myself the way it was originally meant to be if i'm being honest. This game perfectly illustrates what the Neo hardware was specifically built for and I still would like to have the game on the Neo Geo today uf i could find someone to convert for me.✊😎✊

久しぶりにかなりのスーパープレイを堪能しました😏❗二人ともほぼ危なげなく激しい戦闘をクリアしているのがスゴいんですけど😲❗二人プレイでノーミスしてのクリアはかなりやり込まないと出来ないですよね～😅❗
