Best game of football I've ever attended! Amazing skill and just played at breakneck speed throughout... was sitting in the Southern Stand 4th tier wing (with a very cute North supporter 😉)... atmosphere was unbelievable!!! The passage of play near the end (2:43:10) starting with the Archer mark and shot from 55, the sensational Barnes mark (what a game he played!), the handball from Couchie to Ricco followed by his run with 3 bounces was I think the most tension I have ever experienced in my life!! And when Dennis says "...listen to the roar!", you have to believe me that it was the loudest roar at the footy I have heard in over 40 years of attending! Amazing memories... hard to believe it was 30 years ago! Thanks so much for the fantastic upload @Costa Sports 🙌🏾🖖🏾

I was a 9 yr old north supporter sitting in the northern stand with my head down because I was too nervous to look up. Devastating at the time. That Geelong team never won a premiership, but ours did two yrs later. Go North!
