this is a childhood washer for me! My parents had a higher tier model but it had the same style control panel with the two piece hand wash agitator just like this one. It unfortunately died in around 2004-6 and was replaced with a front loading LG TROMM that is still going to this day. They still have the GE in storage but the transmission leaked its oil and started having issues.

@WilliePeck yeah, luckily this one still going but it leaks from underneath which is why it's runs outside if I use it, the parts are getting harder to find on these

I had the 1994 version. It was my childhood washer that had a ramped activator with the mini basket and 2 speeds. It also had extra rinse.

prob the worst agitator for this machine but it still rolls over more times than any modern piece of shit made today would do. nice machine! GE made some of the best washers back in the day

I actually liked the rollover and thought the agitation was thorough Keep in mind this is a heavy load of towels

I'd like to see the small load on the normal/fast setting. Does it have a ramp or straight vane activator?

@jeromedavis8575 ge filter flo or rim flo, is one he greatest machines I think is anyway, true quality transmission, the 2000s ge chug chug trans is different not the same

It has rollover, it just takes a bit for stuff to rollover.
