I worked as a big cat keeper at two different zoos, and for a short while I was an animal handler. The thing that sticks out in my mind is the absolute power of these animals, their strength & speed is almost unbelievable...as you can see in the video. This cat could have easily cleared that fence and jumped back over with dude in his mouth.

What would’ve you done differently? If the guy would’ve kept running the tiger would’ve easily jumped the fence to pursue him. The only thing that saved his life is that he stood close to the fence which made (from the tigers perspective) appear that he was unreachable.
