1994 Kawasaki bayou 400 starting circuit electrical problem

So what was the issue?? My starter switch not working would it be my starter,battery is good tested showing 12.6 volts.

How did you solve the problem? I don't know if mine is the same but I'm trying to find the starter relay. I'm writing from Polish, so I don't know professional mechanical terms. For me, the quad starts manually and does not want to from the starter. Sometimes when it's cold it will start with the starter so it's probably good.

Is it possible to bypass the relay? Not the starter solenoid (I know that can be done by a screw driver) but the starter relay? If yes, can you please help me by explaining what needs to be done. Thanks!

Look up a wiring diagram that corresponds with your model number, for my 97 bayou the head/tail lights run off yellow wire

Think of it as a switch, the big wires go to positive from battery and positive to the starter , small wires are 12v from handle bar switch and ground or return negative to battery.
