1994 kx250 died - diy stator coil rewind specs and tips

Decided to try and rewind my own charge coil (large one) on the wifes 95 kx250. I got most of the tech info from searching the web and thought id consolidate it into a quick video for reference and help. Enjoy!

Is the coil still working? How do you know what direction to wrap the coil? Or does it matter?

still going strong yes i dont think direction matters :)

Saw somebody else do it and its about 6,000 turns for just over 400 ohms result.😮

yep lucky i had a lathe, but no counter, i just kept measuring- i should have timed my lathe for an estimate but its still going strong-
