1994 Lexus ES300 Walk Around Tour and Short Drive

A clean one owner Second Gen Lexus ES in a fairly uncommon two tone color combo. This will not be the most exciting video you will watch today.

I have this generation Lexus ES300, same color and engine but manual transmission which is rare af (just like the one in hoovies garage). Its a 92 with manual, they were available for 2 years only (92-93). I got lucky enough to snatch it in 2018 for just $600 with just bad ECU. Previous owner thought it was something major but sourcing the ECU was not an easy task itself since its different from the auto. I still have her and will never let her go. Best era of ES300s!

How expensive would it be to swap a 92 auto to manual?

@@fortheloveofnoise9298wouldn’t be expensive but would take alot of planning and thinking. I’d suggest go for a 97 to 01 trans. Would run u up a good 1-3k for a good trans

I have the same year Lexus that I bought for $150 with 304K on the clock. It has minor front end damage and the leather interior is no bueno 😬 Needs new struts, engine mounts, tires, timing belt kit, has CEL P1600, and lots of TLC. Engine and transmission runs smooth with no issues 😁

Great first car! Insurance should be cheap, parts are easy and everywhere. Keep oil and water in it and you're good to go

So changes from car to car and photo/video client that I'mshooting for. I mostly used Cars and Bids for stuff from this era. Some of of the older stuff goes to either Bring a Trailer or Hemmings. There are a few newer sites I've yet to try. I'm going to start listing the videos about the day each auction goes live and note in the video which platform it's for sale on.
