Kim comes over the top of the ball a bit and spins it through the heads. That enabled her to stay right of Nikki and obtain a great angle to the pocket. Nikki with her powerful release has to play further inside and at times, the carry can go down the toilet.

several of Kim's shots were high in the pocket; she was so lucky to strike; she was just getting lucky breaks that day

When Nikki left 10-pins that match, her shots weren't flush, and the entry angle into the pocket wasn't the best....but some of the shots were carrying the previous matches
