1994 Peterbilt Amrep ASL Collecting recycling

Here is one of my personal favorite Amrep's from Burrtec. I got lucky and found this being used as a spare on recycling in Yucaipa. I'm very suspicious of this being an old City of San Diego unit. Mostly due to the orange paint bleeding through all over the cab, and comparing pictures of this one to one that San Diego owned, they are spec'd exactly the same. Not sure on the current condition of this truck, but I would like to think it is still around and being used as a spare from time to time.

Very cool! Didn't know Yucaipa had one of these running around out there, thought it was all ex-LA Petes and WhiteGMCs until the Autocars came in. That's pretty cool how this might be ex-ESD. Their old color scheme was awesome with the orange cabs. Driver operated very well too. Awesome find! Great to see more SoCal vids from you.

Thanks man! This truck is actually from the Riverside yard, but they were short on trucks here so they brought this one up for a couple of weeks.

Awesome video! Man they still run Pete 310’s? I thought for sure they’d all be gone by now. Truck runs pretty good,almost sad that this awesome piece of history runs better then most 09 Autocar Ellipticals in my yard. Anyways nice work!!

Thanks! I haven't been in California for quite a while now so i'm not sure if any are currently still around or not. As of about a year ago Burrtec had 3 310 Amrep's left. 2 being in Riverside and one in Victorville.
