Great race from a great era in Nascar. Awesome finish with Ernie Irvan holding off a charging Morgan Shepherd and Bill Elliot dodging a deadly piece of debris. One of a few races I was able to watch on the tv antenna. Good job by ABC on the coverage of the event. Nice to see DW get a top five after leading for a few laps. Thanks for the video !

Problem with watching these old races on tv back in the day is like the stint around one hour and 17 minutes to around one hour 27 minutes. 10 minutes straight of Earnhardt. Like there isn't anyone else on the track. Jeff Burton was right behind the leader and passed him, which finally got the camera off Earnhardt. Also only showing positions 1-5 on the leaderboard. DW started 40th and worked his way up to 11th before a camera was put on him. There was no showing of him passing all those drivers. The smaller, less popular teams didn't get tv time, therefore didn't get sponsor time and therefore didn't get sponsor money and therefore didn't get anywhere in NASCAR. The TV coverage of this and all the races except restrictor plate races sucked.

disgusted for what happened to Geoff bodine for the report to the smoking motor. being French forgive me, but who can explain to me why Bodine had "2points" having his car out with a engine problem?
