My boat, the 1974 Swanson 30, Mulberry competed in this race, her last of 6 S2Hs under different ownership. We still race her and to good effect down here in Hobart on the Derwent.

good one, it was the first year I remember I really followed it (I was 10), do you also have the doco that win tv did on tasmania (the ketch) showing her training and lead up to the race, aswell as the race itself?

Made it as far as Jervis Bay in this year after being hit by a whale :-( Whether we hit the whale or the whale hit us is open to debate...LOL
