Very interesting, there were two WC 1701s. This SD45 (retaining its original N&W number) and an ex-FRVR GP9, which according to pictures I've seen were active on the system at the same time. A handful of ex-N&W SD45s retained their 17XX numbers on the WC. The vast majority of the WC SD45s were numbered in the 64XX-66XX and 749X-76XX series. Apparently there were also a few random ex-SP ones that kept their 89XX-90XX numbers.
