Just got back into the hobby after a few hours out as my main layouts needing about 400-500$ for a dcc new system to operate the triple decker layout, so I recently started working on a freelance industrial switching park, it’s up and running as of yesterday, purchased a h10-44 for temporary power as I wait for the next train show I can attend and buy a dcc sound loco and put the h10-44 in staging switching duties. Hope your layouts going well! It’s an amazing hobby and it always needs younger hobbyist. I was around your age when I built my first layout and as I close into my thirties with one freelance layout running and my 1910-1930’s prototypical layout in a state of incompletion and in desperate need of a new dcc system, just have fun with it. Learning how to weather and design quality scenery scenes, takes time and honestly if you can afford it try to scratch build and use static grass to really make your layouts details really stick out

After being dormant in the hobby, and having a one day triple decker layout stuck in limbo as I can’t afford to spend 400-500$ on its new system, I opted to build a second layout, freelance, industrial park layout, and I’m so glad to be back in the hobby even if it’s on a much smaller level layout wise. Done alot of railfanning and abandoned rail documenting and photographing, but now that I’m actively running a layout again your channel was the first I searched. Forever jealous of the absolute insanely high quality layout you and your father designed and operate, and enjoy the road switching ops yall do. Glad to see your still active and look forward to future vids!

@@nsmodeler24 I’ll definitely film a first mini ops sometime this week, I’m just happy to finally run some trains again, just on the look out for a good deal on a dcc sound 50-60’s diesel Sp switcher, seems like since I went dormant in the hobby everything is twice the price….kickin myself for never buying that VO-1000 dcc sound for 109$ that sat in a store for years.
