1995 BMW E34 525i w/EWS2 delete

Swapped in a 413 Red label DME from a '93 525i to test the EWS delete.

hey bro i was lucky enough to find a 413 red label today. what is needed for this to work? is it just swap out silver dme for red label dme thats it? my understanding from another guy whos video got deleted somehow unfortunately, you need to jump pin 1 and 3 on the ews2( big wires), then cut a pin connection on the red label dme (cant remember which one) and swap it in. correct? my car is a 95 525i e34 with silver label dme and ews2. i could really use your help, thank you.

Basically that. I cut (in this case, bent) pin 66 on the DME also but it shouldn't be necessary for using a red label.
