the 91 caprice wasn't a box... it was the first year of the B-Body that looks like this impala ss, but with a half wheel cover on the back wheels. The 90 Caprice was the last year of the Box Body caprices

I read the issues in these cars with the 4l60E is that it wasn't beefed up enough to handle the power of the LT1

How were the transmissions in the 94-95 impala. I heard they aren't very reliable

John Liberty I don't think they were too bad. I honestly don't know too much about these style impalas but I haven't heard anything about them having transmission issues. I think it's the newer models that have transmission issues
