Very nice bus, the steps are immaculate, hope she got a good home!! But why is the ceiling in front of bus black? Is it a sound dampener?

The black vinyl ceiling is, yes, for sound dampening. That is how Wayne did it. Everyone else used a pegboard ceiling.
