Wow! The 240SX sounds exactly like my Mercury with the old system. I understand what he want it a little more quieter. If he wanted a sleeper he got it. We also have a Scatpack that finally sound decent. You get what you pay for. The Needs a Magnapack and the Acura needs a muffler too. Maybe a FlowFX.

Acura TL's use the same J series engine as my (now gone) 03 V6 Accord Coupe. I had it 2.5" straight piped all the way back, single exit and secondary (under car) cat delete. Honda J Series V6 Engines are probably the best sounding V6 engine there is imo.

The j series has always had a cool sound indeed. The only v6 I think sound better are the Saab 9-3 2.8 and the alfa Romeo quadrifoglio. still defiantly one of the better sounding v6's

there definitely is such thing as too loud if you plan on daily driving a car. I have a Chevy SS with longtubes and no cats I put vibrant bullets on and it was way too loud and a ton of drone. then I went to Corsa extremes it's still loud at idle and cruising but no drone. but at WOT it screams like a banshee. the perfect balance.

please recommend that customer with the ls3 swapped 240sx to get rid of that holley sniper throttle body i spent 3 months and paid 1300$ in labor to pay shops to figure out why my car would not idle and would stall out constantly turns out i swapped the throttle body back to stock and it idles just fine and works correctly biggest pile of sh*t ever dont buy it.

Mine stays on. I bought aftermarket wheels and aftermarket sensors. Couldn’t ever get them to pair with my F150. Tire shop says they see it a lot with aftermarket wheels and sensors.

When he gets it tuned he will have to put the old exhaust on. No tuner in the right mind will tune that with a huge restriction like that. So much easier to make clean safe power without all that.
