1995 Patrick Eggle Berlin Pro (Elite)

An Elite spec Berlin Pro - handmade in the UK, this guitar features just about every factory upgrade imaginable to the point where it really isn’t a ‘pro’ at all.
From the falling leaf inlays on a rosewood board, to the highly carved AAA quilted maple top and reveal binding; this example is simply stunning.

Those Berlin Pro's are stunning guitars. This top is really a looker. I have a Patrick Eggle made MXG (series made for Max Guitars in the Hague) with the same falling leafs inlays in the ebony fretboard. It's a superstrat (HSS). I've put a set of Bare Knuckles pickups in it and installed Sperzels and a roller bridge to keep the trem in tune for at least one set. It's my main stage guitar for years. Lovely well made guitars, with great necks and eye to detail.

Pat had already left by 1995, Shame knowing that he didn't make that piece or had anything to do with that company. I'm lucky, I have a 1992 Berlin deluxe made by the man himself.

Lovely guitar, never understood why PJE didn't come out and say I took a Custom 24 and Fender Mustang and even out the lines. PRS would not have a leg to stand on...

if you put a PRS and Eggle together they are not remotely similar - thats why Paul hasn't claimed anything

I bought a Conford amp a while ago and shot a playing video with the Berlin but the focus was on the amp not the guitar. I might try and shoot one detailing the 9 way switching on the Berlin 👍

Patrick had left the company by 1995 I believe. If you want an Eggle that he might have made you need a 1994 or earlier. Nonetheless that is a very pretty guitar.
