Kyle Clifton #59 of the New York Jets led the NFL in solo tackles with 160 in 1985, 174 in 1986 and 162 in 1988. Additionally, he was in the top 10 of NFL solo tacklers in 1984, 85, 86, 88, 89, 1990 and 1991. Clifton made 1,484 tackles over the course of his professional career ranking him 10th overall in NFL history as of January 2019. At his retirement in 1996 Clifton was the 2nd leading tackler in NFL history and remains the Jets all-time leading tackler.

I always viewed 1988, 1990, 1993 as missing rings. Buffalo was stacked. 1995 wasn't a great season but after the Miami wild card game it looked like this was a super bowl team. Obviously the buffalo curse hit b4 the steelers playoff game bruce smith missing a rare game let alone a playoff game. With an average coach I hate to say I think the bills win 4 super bowls. 88, 90, 93, 95 seasons. Marv levy not a HOF coach in my opinion.
@ALastShotonTwoGoodHorses Жыл бұрын
@@justinyoung8062Marv Levy was a decent HC. I do think if the Bills had a Bill Pacells type HC that they’d of won at least three Super Bowls. I throw much more blame on the Bills GM Bill Polian. Polian never built the lines up. The defensive line was getting run over in every Super Bowl. The Bills oline was good, but it couldn’t handle the better opposing teams dlines. Polian went to the Colts and they too always got beat due to line play. The Colts did get a gimmick Super Bowl championship, but that was it. Polian had a great eye for talent, but not building lines. The 1988 Bills team didn’t play well from late November on. The one that haunts me is Super Bowl XXVIII. The Bills led at the half 13-6. The Bills had Dallas reeling and then here come a shovel pass as the Bills literally were driving down the field for more points. Dallas scores on the Thurman Thomas fumble and Thurman quit right there, GAME OVER. Steve Tasker was quoted as saying the Bills were “tired” at the half of that Super Bowl. Had the Bills even hit a field goal to go up 16-6 midway through the third, they win that Super Bowl. Troy Aikman wasn’t a QB to move the ball well from behind. It’s all mute now, history.

0:12 Was true then in 1995 with Jim Kelly (The last time we won the AFC East) and could be true in 2020 with Josh Allen. Let #17 Allen call the plays. He has a better feel for offense then the OC that has never been good anywhere!
@tony84.2 жыл бұрын
@Brian Siler And when I made that comment, Daboll was the OC. Ken Dorsey is 100% better then Daboll as the OC. He has great chemistry with Josh and will be the OC that leads us to our first Super Bowl championship. Watch💯
@ALastShotonTwoGoodHorses Жыл бұрын
@@tony84.I never have liked either. Josh should and can call the plays. The HC McDermott isn’t very bright or good either. You’ll notice when the Bills need points late and Josh has to run the show, Josh takes them literally down and scores a TD or gets them in FG range. A few examples of this. Games like the Browns game in Cleveland vs Baker, the playoff game in Houston, the playoff game in Kansas City, the Miami game at home last year, Detroit game on Thanksgiving. Monday night two weeks ago at the Jets. Now, four out of those six games mentioned ended in Bills losses as the HC and DC they had were and are complete chokers. McDermott seems awkwardly shady in the bigger moments. The 13 second collapse in Kansas City cost the Buffalo Bills franchise a Super Bowl. Not a chance Cincinnati was beating the 2021 Bills in Buffalo. Josh Allen would own three rings already if he had what the Kansas City QB has. That’s a great online, best TE in the game, a better OC and a HOF HC. Maybe the Bills will get one, but they’re clearly wasting Josh Allen in Buffalo.
