I know this is old but I finally got around to pulling this chipper out of the field and found out the engine was no good. I repowered it. And was wondering if yall know how fast the cutter disk should turn.

@@JohnSmith-kz1ll Sorry, just seeing this now. If yours had a 35 hp Wisconsin W4-1770 then the engine RPM's are set at 2800. I think its the same for 37hp. The disc rmps for a model 65, which is very similar, is 1900. However you will want to do the math based on the two sheaves you have. You'll measure the diameter of the two sheaves and figure it out based on the small one running a 2800. You can find that formula online.
