Checker automobile company in Kalamazoo, Mi. made an 8 door version of this type of limousine called Checker Marathon Aerobus from 1962 until 1975..

This car has a cup holder. Open the armrest. It folds out.

For when you need to take all of your homies with you. I've heard that funeral limos like this have all the seats facing forward instead of sideways or backward like a party limo so that the occupants don't have to stare at each other during an emotional time. It's also more dignified to get into the 6 door rather than a 4 door stretch. Funeral limos don't seem to be much of a thing any more, most funeral homes seem to just have everyone process in their own cars following the hearse. The Fleetwood is the last of the Cadillac land yachts and looks good in a reserved way. The '96 was the last Cadillac to have the train horn. This is another comment reminding you to honk the horn in old Cadillacs. You'll like the sound.

No I believe 99 was the last year, unless it depended on when the redesigns came for each car.

this cadillac had a messed up wire harnass (part of why i couldnt get the stereo all the way in) and somehow would ground through the horn, if you use the turn signal it would honk with the signal :P I never use the horn on any of my cars so i never bothered to track it down.

You should review an actual Cadillac series 75 limo. Not a 3rd party stretch.

These sectioned sedans make people forget what a "real" limo was. I owned a 1975 Cadillac series 75

I forget the channel name but the guy just revived Richard Petty’s personal limousine, A Mid 70’s Cadillac, been sitting some 20+ years. Him and the King’s grandson got it running from the tree line.

That's interesting because I've had no problem with white wall tires getting flats regardless of the terrain I drove on....also I'm a former limo driver....

Great job on the video, and i got the same feeling you did when i saw this vehicle on ebay in 2015, it just called to me. really wish i had pulled the cables for the dash cams, when you see it every day from the driver's seat you dont really notice it. Of note i've used this for a few weddings, proms, and alot of road trips, though not so much now that the MPGs have dropped down into the mid 20s, used to get ~30mpg on the highway(45-55MPH) and ~27mpg on the interstate(65-80MPG)

You made an excellent purchase! I have a ‘95 Caprice cop car and it’s well used up. I kick myself everyday for not getting a Fleetwood!

I love this!!! I have one I've driven daily since 2020. I absolutely love my Caddy, I had 2 roadmasters previously so once I found this it was a must. My second seat does flip face forwards or backwards, and it is a eureka Coach too!Best car I've ever owned in my 35 years of driving!!❤️

I can see in the trunk they put that wall in the front, thats where the heating and cooling system for the back goes. In a normal sedan the trunk has more space and the spare sits farther forward

As time has gone on, the idea of a limousine seems to ridiculous. It used to scream “wealth” and “class” but just seems kind of trashy today.

I wonder if this was a Commercial Chassis limo like the hearse you reviewed. if it was, it should have had that same 14 bolt semi float 3/4 ton truck axle underneath as well.
