The way the video shows is exactly what the factory 1996 Tahoe manual recommends. Don't assume that what you do on your truck is the way to do it on another.

Tbh not a good idea especially putting in low while driving also on my 94 blazer you should put the Trans in park the transfer case in neutral for a few seconds and then low even for high you should put the Trans in neutral

That’s what I do should I hear an actual clunk when I put it into 4 ? Cause I do but don’t know if it’s supposed to

@@manzobean6818 check your u joints I would its should feel like it went in so maybe a tiny teeny clunk would be fine but a big clunk sounds like universals too me

@@manzobean6818 I may only be 19 but I fixed allot of these trucks and know my way around them pretty good both the TBI and the vortec I'm better with the TBI years tho
