The case of what happened this family, is a tragic tale, and within it a stark warning. Paula went for Bob when he he young, cool & trendy. Through him she got the fame she wanted. She tired of Bob - maybe it grew stale - and she craved the attention elsewhere. She had fancied Hutchence for YEARS. Hutchence had a history of starting new relationships before the old ones were over. He had left Kylie for Helena, and possibly Helena for Paula. From my perspective where it all went wrong was Paula jumping ship on her marriage, and straight into the arms of a huge long standing crush, who didn't seem to be into her as she was him. She was desperate to hold on to Michael at all costs, and therein lay the foundation for future suffering; a child on the way while married to another man, causing so much hurt, betrayal, pain and anger. I think Michael felt trapped in the relationship with Paula. His band mate confirmed he was planning to leave her. His death destroyed her, and her death destroyed Paula's daughter Peaches. She had put her desires before the well being of her kids. So from mismanagement of relationships you can literally wipe out several lives. It's not worth it.

She was legally separated and going through a divorce, had accused Bob of 6 affairs during their marriage and Bob already moved his girlfriend Jeanne in with him only a few short months after Paula moved out. So Bob moved in a new girlfriend while HE was still married to another woman and Jeanne moved in with a married man. Paula said Bob and Jeanne were dating from the 94 when they met on the set of BraveHeart. However, the press wanted to see Paula as the home wrecker so they ignored her side of the story. Lookk up what Claire King said about her affair with Geldof. They were not a stable couple.

Absolutely spot on. Michael made the mistake most men make which is he traded his love for sex with the wrong woman, and she orchestrated it. My understanding is he was still in love with Helena and the allure of sex from Paula snatched him away. The depression hit when he realised what he’d done, he’d got himself entangled into something he couldn’t extricate himself from, he was in too deep. Very sad.

I think Michael was already on a downward slide. He had become increasingly irrelevant over the last few years of his life. I mean, he was barely able to get a booking at the local fair by the time he met mad Paula. Oddest thing about Paula was that she made close friends with Michael's strange financial people Diamond & young, even making them Tiger's god parents. These were the people who told the family that he had died penniless, but failed to list any of his man properties in his estate. They also never revealed what was sold to pay off ALL of Paula's debts, including 2 million in legal fees and provided her enough to never have to work and to buy 2 homes. Strange.

?? it was never for Christmas. Look up the Police Statement of Paula Yates and Belinda Brewin. It was for a few weeks before and after Xmas as she pursued a job offer. It was Bobs' year with the kids and they always planned to return to England for Christmas. that's why the judge moved the date to Dec 21st. They cancelled the fall visit to Austraila and were going to revisit the idea about going at the start of the year - and next school term - instead Also- Paula would arrive after Michael woudl be back on tour, so he wouldn't see her until Xmas anyway. this whole "couldn't stand to wait to see his baby" wasn't true. He had left England on Nov 4th, was photo graphed at the Viper club on Nov 5th in LA so he CHOOSe to leave England well before he had to be back in Australia for that part of the tour. The rumors were he and Paula were breaking up adn she was trying to follow him to Australia, and Michael didn't agree with her. She says in the police statement that he and she both met with Bob about Australia, but Michael wasn't at the meeting, it was Just Paula

It must have been a brain injury for him to want Bob Geldof's sloppy seconds. But seriously, it was very insensitive for me to say that but maybe there is something to it. Things between him and Helena Christensen went down the tube because of his erratic and even violent behavior brought on by his brain injury. If Paul Yates was up to dealing with someone who had developed a dark side and began to indulge in darker experiences, then indeed the brain damage led to him getting involved in a situation that he might not otherwise have ever considered. I believe Yates enabled it and I believe that she went as far as to trap him. If getting pregnant isn't the ultimate trap, then what is? She was apparently obsessed with him and showed up at his concerts frequently. Something was going on with them for a long time in my opinion. It only must have spiraled out of control once she got pregnant and decided to leave sir Bob geldof. Maybe Michael did not realize what a scoundrel he would being made out to be. It certainly didn't get him the kind of attention he had so desperately seeked, to be respected as an artist and as a human being. Years of seeing his looks, reputation, Rockstar Fame, all in decline drives many a celebrity to walk the tightrope. No surprise when they fall. And to top it all off rumor has it that it was Yates who would tip off the press as to where they were going to be. She used Michael as a publicity stunt. I am not judging these ppl or their Lives, I don’t know them. Just making commentary on A WAY OF LIFE, that if you choose to have children, it should be reflected upon. Michael's TBI stopped him from being able to think rationally. Paula told him he wouldn't see his little girl until mid December. Left alone with his thoughts, Michael's brain went to the worst case scenario. That he may never see his Tiger Lily again. That thought, literally scared Michael to death. TBI is an unforgiving problem. Add to that the damage to his olfactory, and Michael Hutchence was a poster for Mental illness, Depression and complete mental instability. It's amazing he sought help for it himself...most ppl in his condition don't. His is the saddest story in the history of music, in my opinion.

He was a bundle of nerves in anticipation and partied instead of mentally 'preparing himself' for worst case scenario. He did not have to embroil himself in 'her problem'.
