New paint job, engine bay to be detailing, under carriage detailing and suspension and torsion bar change, interior need lots of cleaning and detailing, steering wheel change to Momo.. wheels need to change to a newer STI performance wheels, change lighter seats like Bride or recarco... Definitely a fun ride

You mean head gaskets not valve covers! But you're right it's only a problem on north american 2.5 non turbo models.

Yeah, I was confused by that because the valve cover gasket change is a really easy job.

I've owned 4 GC8 sti and never had an engine problem. Not in -30c or +40c Never had an issue ever. Treat them right and they will treat you right.

The deterioration on the seats is actually very common, normally you get it in the bolsters first

The nice ones came to the uk when they were 10 years old so like 2006 if a v2 Sti, our 10 year rule and the Japanese culture of buying the latest meant these cars were so cheap

Offtopic: You should make a video explaining the Parking lot Drama, it seems to be getting out of hand. A few video's ago you posted about the neighbor probably calling the police because you were filming in the street and then in another video you said they don't want you parking car in front of their house. Now they park in front of your lot. It's escalating and that's not good for anyone. Are they on a crusade against you? The lot is thinner and the car hauler with the stack of cars has been re-moved. Are they trying to kick you guys out of there?

We would love to move but land here is scarce and prices are high. I found a nice little spot for our office with a couple of mechanic bays and a space smaller than this lot. They wanted $15,000 USD per month for it. Not only that but all fees and deposits to move in was over $100,000 USD for the first month, no to mention it needed a full interior refinishing and lifts installed. Sometimes it seems impossible to move out of the spot we are in but we really need to.

Agreed. My friend had a Silvia that was so heavily smoked in there was nicotine stains on your fingers from what you touched in the interior… don’t even get me started on what was inside the dash vents 🤢
