As Salaam Alaikum Brother! One thing I experienced on the Hajj in reference to people pushing and shoving, when I was being pushed by a big brother who was with me on the Hajj (it was five of us who traveled together in 1993)trying to push me to the Stone and then suddenly I found myself about to lose the bottom wrap of my ikram and I realized how people get caught up in the frenzy of just getting to the Stone at all cost. And I grabbed hold of my wrap and moved myself back out farther away and would just blow a kiss in that direction each time I passed. That was just one of the many lessons that you are reminded of on the Hajj. We should not be pushing and shoving each other and surely shouldn't be willing to "Jump Naked " as the saying goes just to get to the material Stone. A walk around the Ka'abah is like a walk around the world. And representatives of the entire human family are there (a few million on each Hajj) and we are all capable of doing good just as we are all capable of doing evil. No matter what race or nationality. Part of our struggle when performing the Hajj is to maintain what ALLAH swt says is our best provision for the Hajj. And that is our TAQWA!

Changing the name of the community he’s the leader of is not splitting anything. Those who splinter off to do their own thing are the ones who attempted to create a split. Now if you are not a real muslim you wouldn’t understand this logic. The logic is this. When prophet Muhammed changed turning towards Jerusalem to the qiblah in Mecca it was a test for the believers who said they follow him. Its obvious you can’t make the change towards a qiblah that is most suitable for your original nature. You have taken on a different nature that will never please you.

I will always believe that this guy went too far, too fast in dismantling the Nation of Islam; I also believe that he went too far in challenging his father’s mission. I believe he could have synthesized the best of his fathers teachings with the best, or realistic aspects of Sunni Islam. I loosely surmise that he might have been an agent of sorts for the US Government, or the Saudi(Arabs). Because of the above, he showered a lot of pain and confusion on a lot of People, NOI Muslims, and others. This is my view based on what I witnessed from friends. I am not a practicing Muslim, so don’t respond to this with a lot of Hadith, Surahs, and other Islamic jargon.
