**Up until recently, I've been downloading my personal VHS collection. However, the collection is obviously limited. I started a Patreon page to better find and purchase old VHS videos on EBAY and other websites, as well as at garage sales and other locations that might have VHS available, so I can upload them for all to see and share for free. 38:24 Boomer says Barry Bonds seems very serious. Very serious at making a run at 500 home runs. It is interesting to see how the comments about the players back then during these home run derbies. Some outperform predictions, some are right on the money, many fall short of the promise they seemed to have showed.

Joe Carter is so damn likeable that even the Phily fans forgave him and had fun with him, despite him ripping their hearts out 3 years earlier. :)

Seeing the Batman and Robin promo threw me off for a second but I remembered im watching a replay of the 96 HRD that aired as a replay in 97 with quite a few commercials about 97.

I've noticed barry bonds is always supportive and flattering of his opponents. Not an ounce of jealousy in any situation I've seen. Maybe it was the sports media that was the real problem all along.

This pitcher is blowing me. What is he trying to get a look on the mound? At the HRD? He making all the throws. But he's rushing it and he's not always placing the ball right where they need it. They should probably use a machine like at the cages.

Still entertaining to watch even though we know who wins (the die-hard fans). 43 hitters had 30+ Homers in '96, the new record WAS 47 set in 2000, until 2019, when 58 players did it!

He alway was…as impressive as 73 home runs in a season is, Bonds record was not as exiting and beloved as McGwire’s. Bonds was feared as a hitter, but McGwire was loved
