Wow, 20 years ago today! I was really pulling for Stricklin to win this one.

Are you still rooting or did he never win? I guess you picked the wrong driver . You couldn't come up with anyone better cause there's a boatload of them...

Wow all tge people complaining about races being on cable now days... You look back most of the coverage on ESPN. I don't think people remember that

I definitely do. I also remember the point system before they ruined it and lost the majority of their fans...

Damn why'd you cut off Hut Stricklin's post race interview?

My fav driver ever was jeff but I’m not gonna lie I woulda loved to see Hut win
No doubt DJ would have put everyone a lap down. Loy Allen blamed the throttle sticking, however the onboard audio says different. Hut also had a great run. Overall this was quite the race.

How did Ward Burton end up sounding sooo much different than Jeff Burton.
@michaelbayne51506 жыл бұрын
Jeff was raised on the north side of the house, Ward was on the south.

mrbeaverstate It's a nickname.
@evanwilliams64067 жыл бұрын
It was a nickname that was bestowed upon him, Hut has two younger brothers Laymond and Raymond and Hut is Waymond, Jr. so to avoid comparison with his father Waymond, Sr. he became known as Hut Stricklin. If you watch the 1991 Daytona 500, this conversation came up on an extended caution period.
