Very nice. I bought a 1996 mustang SVT cobra convertible. 27,000 original miles still smells like a brand new car inside. My car is black with saddle leather interior.

The fox has 225 hp the 94-97 had 215 hp and 98 gt had 225 hp like fox bodies. The 96-98 cobras had 305 hp at 5800 rpm and 300 torque at 4800 rpm the b head cars are very high revving oriented. They Rev to 7k. It is a 4.6 4v engine with the b heads and t45 transmission. I used to own a 97 for like 4 years and I totaled it I still have the owners manual for it.

Beautiful sn95 cobra! I’ve owned a 96 cobra for 6yrs now, I’m building mine to be an all around car, but most importantly I want it to handle around corners with absolutely no body roll, hoping to make some serious power in the future! I also own an Oxford white 03 Mach 1, and my brother also owns a 95 gt with trick flow top end kit and vortech blower that you can watch on my channel, and on the side he’s got a super clean black 14’ mustang gt

My Cobra has 180K miles on it because I actually drove it- it was my daily for a while.

About a year before that body style Cobra came out my friend whose dad worked for the Ford Motor Company design brought over a hand-built prototype of the Mustang Cobra about a year-and-a-half before they came out it didn't even have the SVT on it just had the cobra snake it was hand built had a computer on the dashboard for testing it was that kind of dark red color thank he said it had 300 horsepower r320 can't remember but I think it was 300 he said after while they was going to have to destroy it they couldn't put it on the road for some reason are sell it in the future said it could only have a manufacturer's license plate only cannot be registered are titled he said when they destroy it it's going to be with other tests Ford cars and they let the fire department burn them all for training for their firefighters

No all cobras from 1993 up to 2004 came from the factory with a running horse in the grill just like any other mustang. The 99-01 and 03-04 cobras had open grills with horses like the 94-98 instead of the honeycomb around it like new edge gts had. Most people switched them out for cobras so much so people everywhere like yourself think they came from the factory that way but they absolutely did not.

Actually had a pony, I had to fabricate mine. Later was available for purchase. 26 k on my MYSTIC. Bought new in Apr 96 in Ft Myers Fl.

The worst seats ford ever put in a mustang. They cracked, faded, and dried up almost immediately. Beautiful cars, but the upholstery was a total fail.

That is one ugly car. I would much rather have a 1996 Camaro Z28 or Firebird Trans Am. They look 10 times better, they have more power, and they handle much better. I don't know why anybody ever bought these things.

Used to think they were ugly myself but time changes your outlook on things, the 96-98 have gorgeous body lines that flow unlike any other mustang. Stock-for-stock these actually outpace the LS1 cars by 2/10ths in the quarter-mile because they weigh 200lbs less. The LS engines obviously have a lot more power potential due to displacement. Once you do bolt-on's, and remove the 6 catalytic converters from these 96-98 Cobras they make close to 340rwhp. A set of 4.10 gears in the rear and you have a 12 second car. There is nothing that sounds as good as the 4.6L DOHC in terms of a small block.
