Yeah, and 3 out of every 4 years they were at least in the national championship conversation if they didn't win it all. They might be back soon. I'm not sure how good of a coach Matt Rhule is, but if they can land Dylan Raiola and get a couple of good receivers it will be a step in the right direction.

Huge Nebraska fan this was part of the greatest run in college football history from 93 to 97 though Nebraska had been on a run for like 30 years at this point but this version of that run 60 and 3 literally a missed field goal versus Florida State and a bunch of bad calls against Nebraska in that same game and that fourth down play against Texas in the Big 12 title game if they just stopped them there and they make that field goal against Florida state they're 62 and one with five national championships in a row greatest run in college football history maybe the greatest running just about any sport 62 and 1 contemplate that they were two bounces of the ball from that

@@BruceWayne-ri4wr Here we go again. 1) FSU missed a FG in that game to (1st qtr). I spot you, you spot me and where does that get you. 2) Listen to the NBC anchors (Enberg and Trumpy). Several times they refer the goal line call. Neither one called it a bad call. 3) the block in the back. Watch the uncut version where Trumpy uses his marker. Trumpy has entire country focused on the Neb guy to the right. It's the Neb guy on the left that clips the FSU player. Ref right the F on top it. Great call. 4) Texas tried to give the game to Neb and Osborne F'up that up. It's not called The Run anymore, it's called THE SKIP ALONG.

Saban was awful at MSU. Didn't win a bowl. Didn't crack the top 10 until 57 of 59 games there. 0-2 to Osborne. What. 03 to Tiller at Purdue. Who was Tiller? Blah, blah. This game meant absolutely nothing except it gave Neb a real false sense of who they were. ASU 19, Neb 0, the next game.

ASU game notwithstanding, they were still only one excellent play call by Texas in the Big 12 championship game from playing FSU in the Sugar Bowl for a 3rd straight ring. ‘90’s Nebraska was not to be trifled with.
