Never made sense to me either, I had the supercharged Original (1984 was first year) and then I had an extremely rare fully optioned 1989 GT Targa-Top (JDM, which I took with me from NZ to Australia) and that was the first of the new SW40 shape. GT used to mean it was the turbo motor 3S-GTE. In australia they had GT-S and the G-Limited which was non turbo. You can always tell non turbo if resprayed as the engine cover hasn't got raised louvres . I wanna know what there was a 10 anniversary of in 1996, as it wasnt Mr2.
