Loving that CITV promo at 1:20. As CITV was produced by Central at that point I definitely recognise some shots of Birmingham being used there. The corridors the CITV letters run around are the inside of the now demolished Central studios which were situated on Broad Street. As well as a quick shot of the sea life centre by the looks of it!

I remember other UK adverts (and around 1995) featuring Ronald McDonald - one where it rains and one beginning with football (and I remember a UK advert, featuring Ronald, from March 2001, which could have been the same as the one from the end of April that year). There was additionally a UK advert, featuring Ronald, from 2004 (the last advert as such I saw), where he’s upside down in a swimming pool (I do remember this UK advert featuring him, at the park, which I first saw in 1995 - after the Rocky bars advert, and before the Babybel adverts). As I asked, was coulrophobia the reason McDonald’s got rid of him? (where people, especially children, found him scary)
