Sadly, it’s time to say goodbye our beloved “Betty Bungalow” (our Motor Home for the last 3 years). She has treated us very well, and we’ve kept her in pristine condition and made loads of upgrades (see details below). Owned and upgraded by a cabinet maker. Easy to drive. I have a 1997 chateau sport. Ours is similar but we have much less kitchen area but is replaced with a rear master bedroom. I run a Polaris 2000watt generator inverter but found out it’s not enough to power the ac during the summer. Wish we had an onboard generator for going off the grid.

l like the rear damage on drivers side that breached, causing corner to flap in the wind. Thats structural. What happened to the awning? You break it off? l feel sorry for person who bought it however, if they are that ignorant, they deserve it...

No anodes were used in the aluminum square tubing sub-structure so any dissimilar metals such as steel screws (and staples) induce corrosion. I recently demolished a 1999 coach and the sub-structure was extremely thin, a swiss-cheese corroded metal that offered zero strength and integrity. How long has metal corrosion existed? This is extremely basic AND extremely poor American construction standards. Oh, of course the manufacturers will claim the added cost is prohibitive....BS....anodes are extremely inexpensive and can be attached in seconds. This is why the first thing I did when I purchased my 1999 Four Winds Five Thousand motorhome was demolish the coach and replace it with a commercially built (Bay Bridge) all-aluminum 16'ft cab-over cargo box that I will construct into a quality built coach. The box has no anodes either however if I introduce dis-similar metal attachments it will have at that point.
